No 8 Pump Station, located near Bullabulling, is the most intact of the original steam-powered pump stations from the Goldfields Water Supply Scheme. Established in 1901, it ceased operations in 1970, leaving its boilers, engines, and pumps preserved as they were. The site also features a steel chimney, coal bin, blacksmith's forge, and other historical structures, offering a glimpse into early 20th-century engineering. Visitors can explore the Golden Pipeline Heritage Trail, which includes this site, to learn about the water supply system that transformed Western Australia's goldfields.
