Wongin Mia Cranbrook Hideaway offers a secluded bush camping experience on a 600-acre carbon farm in Cranbrook, Western Australia. As part of the Gondwana Link project, the property features 400 acres of revegetated bushland and 100 acres of remnant bush along a winter creek, creating an ideal environment for birdwatching and wildlife observation. The campsite provides level, grassy sites suitable for self-contained campers with their own toilet, shower, and drinking water. Campfires are permitted during winter; guests should bring their own firewood or purchase a bundle on-site. Located approximately an hour north of Albany and 300 kilometers south of Perth, Wongin Mia serves as an excellent base for exploring nearby attractions such as the Stirling Range National Park, Porongurup National Park, the Frankland wine district, and Lake Poorrarecup. The area is abundant with wildlife, including parrots, wedge-tailed eagles, red-breasted wrens, and kangaroos. Pets are welcome, and the property is dog-friendly.
