Nestled along the Lower Snowy River estuary, Corringle Slips Foreshore Reserve offers a serene camping experience between the sea and a lake, surrounded by banksia woodlands. The campground features 24 designated sites equipped with picnic tables, fireplaces, and several pit toilets. Dogs on a lead are welcome, making it an ideal spot for fishing and boating enthusiasts. While swimming is not advised due to strong rips and currents, surf fishing is popular, with common catches including Salmon, Tailor, and Gummy Shark. A concrete boat ramp provides access to the estuary, and areas sheltered from the wind are suitable for canoeing and kayaking. The walking track from the picnic area leads to the beach, offering picturesque views of the Snowy River backwater. Please note that camping fees apply, and visitors are encouraged to be self-sufficient with drinking water.
