Located at 2 Arthur Street, Yankalilla, the Yankalilla District Emergency Services Centre houses both the Country Fire Service (CFS) and the State Emergency Service (SES). Established in 1952, the CFS operates as a volunteer-based organization dedicated to protecting life, property, and environmental assets in regional and semi-metropolitan South Australia. The SES, co-located with the CFS, responds to a wide range of emergencies, including extreme weather events, road crashes, and various rescue operations. Training sessions for both services are held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm.
