Perched atop a 90-meter cliff at the southernmost tip of mainland Australia, Wilsons Promontory Lighthouse offers panoramic views of Bass Strait. Constructed between 1853 and 1859 using local granite, this 19-meter tower has been guiding ships since its first light in 1859. The lighthouse and its keeper's cottages, now restored, provide unique accommodation for visitors. Accessible only by a 20-kilometer hike from Telegraph Saddle Carpark, the journey rewards hikers with breathtaking coastal scenery and a glimpse into maritime history.
