Wadderin Wildlife Sanctuary, a 430-hectare reserve near Narembeen, Western Australia, is enclosed by a 9-kilometre fox- and cat-proof fence, providing a safe haven for reintroduced species such as the Red-tailed Phascogale, Brush-tailed Bettong (Woylie), Banded Hare-wallaby, Brushtail Possum, and Southern Brown Bandicoot (Quenda). Managed by a dedicated local volunteer group, the sanctuary offers nocturnal tours on an open electric bus, allowing visitors to experience the bush and its native fauna firsthand. Tours, lasting approximately one hour, depart from the Narembeen Roadhouse at 7:15 pm on Saturday nights, with additional nights available for group bookings.
