The Vandenberg Hotel, established in 1862, is one of New South Wales' longest-standing and continually licensed establishments. Built by Dutch immigrants, the Vandenberg family, it was originally known as The Courthouse Hotel and was often referred to as having "the most comfortable accommodation west of the mountains." The hotel offers a range of pub-style rooms, most leading to a veranda that overlooks the picturesque Victoria Park and Forbes' heritage buildings. The Courthouse Cafe, located within the hotel, serves barista-made coffee and light meals for breakfast and lunch. Guests can also enjoy the main bar and beer garden areas, ideal for dining, drinks, and live entertainment.
