Valentine Hut, nestled in the Jagungal Wilderness of Kosciuszko National Park, is a charming historic shelter renowned for its bright red exterior adorned with white hearts. Constructed in the 1950s to support a surveying crew, it originally housed Snowy Mountains Authority radio communications equipment. The 4m by 3.5m timber and weatherboard hut features a wood stove, table, benches, and windows, with an iron roof and wooden floor. Outside amenities include a toilet and woodshed. In 2016, extensive reconstruction by NPWS installed a steel subframe to ensure its longevity.
