Located at 104 Bridge Street, the Uralla Visitor Information Centre serves as a welcoming hub for visitors exploring the historic town of Uralla. Gold pans can be hired for those wishing to try their luck at the nearby Wooldridge Fossicking Reserve. A selection of books is available, including a number relating to the story of the legendary bushranger, Captain Thunderbolt. The centre is open every day except Good Friday, ANZAC Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.
