Established in 1930, Ulverstone Surf Life Saving Club is a cornerstone of the Ulverstone community, dedicated to promoting aquatic safety, community engagement, and lifesaving excellence. The club offers a comprehensive Nippers program, fostering the next generation of surf lifesavers through skill development and camaraderie. During the summer months, members conduct regular patrols on Buttons Beach, ensuring the safety of beachgoers. The clubhouse, situated at 7 Beach Road, serves as a versatile venue for weddings, corporate events, and private functions, featuring a commercial kitchen, bar facilities, and stunning views over Bass Strait. With a strong emphasis on community involvement, the club provides training sessions and courses to enhance the skills of its volunteers and offers water safety services for local events.
