The Tumby Bay R.S.L. Sub Branch, established in 1919, is a vibrant community hub dedicated to supporting serving and ex-service men and women, along with their families. Located at 16 Lipson Road, Tumby Bay, South Australia, the club offers a welcoming environment for social and recreational activities. Open every Friday from 5:30 pm, members enjoy affordable meals and a cozy atmosphere, especially with the open fire during winter. On the last Sunday of each month, the club hosts a luncheon featuring guest speakers. The venue is also available for hire, providing a versatile space for various events. The club's rich history includes the unveiling of the Tumby Bay and District Soldiers Memorial on June 7, 1926, honoring local soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice. The clubrooms, built by volunteers and opened in 1954, have been recently refurbished to enhance their role as a community refuge and resilience center. The Tumby Bay R.S.L. Sub Branch continues to serve as a cornerstone of the community, fostering camaraderie and honoring the legacy of those who have served.
