Tom Groggin Horse Camp, nestled between Khancoban and Thredbo in Kosciuszko National Park, offers a serene riverside setting along the upper Murray River. This dedicated equestrian campground features parking for horse floats and trucks, paddocks, and water for horses. Campers can enjoy cool mountain evenings around fire rings, with the option to bring their own firewood. It's advisable to secure horses at night in floats or yards, as wild horses often visit after dusk. Please bring weed-free feed for horses, ideally pellet feeds. Note that there are no bins at the campsite, so all rubbish must be taken away. Bookings are required and can be made online or by calling the National Parks Contact Centre.
