The Hordern Pavilion

The Hordern Pavilion, affectionately known as "The Hordern," is a historic Sydney landmark located in Moore Park. Opened in 1924, it was originally constructed to meet the increasing popularity of the Royal Easter Show. Designed in the Inter-War Academic Classical style, the venue features classical detailing, including fluted Doric columns and a vaulted roof with a lantern tower. Over the years, it has hosted a diverse range of events, from agricultural exhibitions to live music concerts, film premieres, and gala dinners. Notable performances include Frank Sinatra, Coldplay, Florence + the Machine, Justin Timberlake, Nirvana, Lorde, Queen, and The Jackson Five.
