Tamala Park Waste Management Facility - Mindarie Regional Council (MRC)

The Tamala Park Waste Management Facility, located at 1700K Marmion Avenue, Tamala Park, WA 6030, is a comprehensive waste management site serving the Perth metropolitan area. Operated by the Mindarie Regional Council (MRC), it processes approximately 4,000 tonnes of household waste weekly from seven local government authorities, representing nearly 800,000 residents. The 250-hectare facility includes a Class 2 Waste Disposal landfill, recycling centre, transfer station, and a reuse shop. The landfill is projected to reach capacity in the 2028/29 financial year, after which the site will undergo rehabilitation and revegetation. The recycling centre and transfer station will continue operations beyond the landfill's closure.
