Sue Islet

Sue Islet, also known as Warraber, is a picturesque coral cay in the Torres Strait, Queensland, Australia. The island is home to the Kulkalaig people, who maintain traditional practices such as hunting, dancing, and feasting. The community observes the "Coming of the Light" on July 1st each year, commemorating the arrival of Christianity in 1871. Sue Islet offers abundant traditional foods like wongai and coconuts, and its surrounding waters are rich in fish, turtles, and dugongs.
