Stroud Showground, located at 32 Cowper Street, Stroud, NSW 2425, is a vibrant hub for community events and recreational activities. The venue hosts significant events such as the Stroud Show, Stroud Rodeo, and the Stroud Rolling Pin and Brickthrowing Contest. It also accommodates local sports like cricket, soccer, and dressage, and provides facilities for the Stroud Tennis Club. Amenities include a showground arena, rodeo arena with flood lighting, various stalls and pavilions, a grandstand, canteen, camping area, amenities (including a disabled toilet), sporting field with cricket pitch, cricket practice nets, skatepark, playground, and swimming pool. Overnight stays are permitted, with 15 powered and 15 unpowered camping sites available, complete with amenities, showers, and a laundry. The maximum stay is seven days, and bookings are required prior to occupancy. The showground is also dog-friendly, with pets to be kept under effective control.
