Strand Park, located at 37-43 The Strand, North Ward QLD 4810, is a family-friendly space offering a sprawling grass playing field, half basketball court, playground, and accessible beach. Facilities include toilets (male, female, and disabled access), barbecue and picnic areas, a teenage playground near the playing field, a junior playground on the pier side of the beach, and outdoor showers. Beach access mats are available on The Strand Beach every Friday from 10:30 am to Saturday 3:00 pm and during special events. Parking is available on The Strand promenade surrounding the playing field, including six disabled parking bays.
