Nestled in the heart of Stanthorpe, the Showgrounds offer a serene camping experience amidst expansive, tree-lined grounds. Ideal for caravans, RVs, camper trailers, and rooftop tents, the site prohibits single tents and swags. Amenities include spacious, shaded grassy sites suitable for group camping, ample men's and women's toilet facilities with three accessible options, and hot showers with two ensuite blocks, each containing three toilet/shower combination rooms. Pets are welcome, provided dogs remain on leads in public areas and owners clean up after them. A dump point is available near Gate 2 for campers, and potable water is accessible; however, guests are encouraged to bring sufficient water for their stay. Managed by the not-for-profit Stanthorpe Agricultural Society, the Showgrounds are not owned or managed by the Southern Downs Regional Council.
