Silverdale Rifle Range, situated at 395 Avoca Rd, Silverdale, NSW 2752, is a premier shooting facility owned and operated by the SSAA Sydney Branch. Established in the early 1970s by benchrest shooters, the range has expanded to accommodate various disciplines, including pistol, shotgun, rimfire fly, silhouette, and single action. The complex features sound-baffled, undercover shooting areas, an air-conditioned clubhouse, canteen, and reloading room. Open seven days a week from 9 am to 3:45 pm, the range offers a "try shooting" program for new shooters, with pre-booking required on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Ammunition is available for sale to members in popular calibres such as .22, .22 mag, .223, and 12g shotgun (clays only). The range is government-licensed, and attendances qualify for licence currency requirements.
