It houses the 3.9-meter Anglo-Australian Telescope, the nation's largest optical telescope, along with other significant instruments. Visitors can explore the AAT's Visitor Gallery, offering panoramic views of the Warrumbungle National Park. The Siding Spring Exploratory features interactive astronomy exhibits, a café, and a gift shop. Guided tours are available, providing insights into the observatory's research and history. The observatory is open daily from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, except during severe weather or fire conditions.
