Sanctuary Canberra

Sanctuary, Canberra, located at 17 Brockman Street in Narrabundah, offers a versatile and inviting venue for various events. The space features generous natural light, real timber flooring, and soft, airy furnishings, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With a capacity of up to 80 seated guests or 120 for cocktail-style events, it accommodates a range of gatherings, including private functions, intimate weddings, bridal and baby showers, workshops, and meetings. The venue provides free on-site parking and offers event furniture and tableware for hire. Guests can choose to handle their own catering or be introduced to trusted local suppliers. A portion of the hire fee supports projects that empower women across Australia, with 10% shared with At Her Table, an initiative that uplifts and connects women. Managed by Rise Events on behalf of St Aidan’s Uniting Church and the Canberra Region Presbytery of the Uniting Church Australia, Sanctuary, Canberra has been hosting celebrations and bringing communities together since 2021.
