SSAA Townsville Branch Inc., established in 1965, is a dynamic shooting club located at Lot 2 Rifle Range Road, Hervey Range, QLD 4817. With over 3,000 members, it offers a variety of disciplines, including Air Rifle, Benchrest, Big Game Rifle, and more. The rifle range operates for casual shooting on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from approximately 8 am to 1 pm, subject to Range Officer discretion. Safety equipment is mandatory on all ranges, with hearing protection required on all ranges and enclosed shoes. Eye wear is also required for all pistol shooting.
