Red Earth Opal, located at 100 The Blocks in White Cliffs, NSW, is a family-run business renowned for its unique opal offerings. The gallery, a straw bale construction designed to mimic underground homes' thermal properties, showcases a stunning collection of opals, including the world-famous Opal Pineapple. Visitors can enjoy homemade cheesecakes and freshly baked scones alongside in-house espresso coffee. The gallery serves as the starting point for opal mine tours and cutting demonstrations, providing an immersive experience into the opal mining process. Open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, the gallery is closed from December 1st to April 1st each year.
