The Port Broughton Unit of the South Australian State Emergency Service (SES) is a dedicated volunteer organization committed to providing emergency assistance to the Port Broughton community. Operating 24/7, the unit responds to a variety of incidents, including road crash rescues, general rescues, land search operations, and storm damage operations. Training sessions are held on the first and third Monday of each month at 7:30 pm, welcoming new volunteers to join their efforts.
