Nestled at the western end of Crystal Avenue in Pearl Beach, the Crommelin Native Arboretum spans 5.5 hectares of native bushland, offering a serene sanctuary for rare and threatened plant species. Established in 1976, this award-winning, not-for-profit organisation is dedicated to promoting nature conservation. Visitors can enjoy well-maintained pathways, boardwalks, and bridges, with parking available for a small number of cars. The Arboretum hosts a variety of educational events, annual live opera, and serves as a popular bush wedding venue, with iconic photos taken under the boughs of the "Wedding Tree." Open daily during daylight hours, the Arboretum is a haven for local wildlife, including lyrebirds, bowerbirds, and swamp wallabies. Please note, dogs, bicycles, drones, smoking, and open flames are prohibited to preserve the environment.
