The One Tree Hotel, established in 1862 by Alexander Finch, stands as a historic landmark on the Cobb Highway between Hay and Booligal in New South Wales. Constructed from split cypress-pine logs, the hotel features verandahs on three sides and a hipped corrugated-iron roof. It was rebuilt in 1903 after a fire, replicating the original structure. The hotel ceased operations in 1942 but remains a testament to the region's pastoral heritage. The name 'One Tree' originates from a solitary gum tree that once stood nearby.
