The Nyngan Ag Expo, held annually on the first Saturday in August at the Nyngan Showgrounds, showcases the region's agricultural heritage. The 2025 event, scheduled for August 2, features a variety of attractions, including sheep, cattle, and goat studs, farm machinery displays, a vintage and modified tractor pull, sports shear competitions, Australian National Sheep Dog Trials, live entertainment, food and wine stalls, fashion shows, arts and crafts, and children's activities. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for pensioners, and free for children under 16.
