The park features a historic homestead set amidst semi-formal gardens on a cliff top above the Gippsland Lakes, providing stunning views. Visitors can enjoy various walking tracks, including the Cliff Top Walk, which offers panoramic vistas of the lake system and Bass Strait. The park is home to diverse flora and fauna, attracting numerous bird species such as honeyeaters, black swans, pelicans, and birds of prey. Picnic areas, including a rotunda and BBQ facilities, are available for visitors to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The park is open daily until sunset, with the homestead open when Rangers are on duty, typically from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Entry is free, but donations are welcome to support the park's maintenance.
