Established on December 12, 1954, Nowra-Culburra Surf Life Saving Club has been dedicated to patrolling Culburra Beach and ensuring the safety of both locals and visitors. Overlooking the picturesque Warrain Beach, the club offers a range of programs for all ages, including the Nippers program for children aged 5 to 13, and training for the Bronze Medallion for adults. Members actively participate in branch, country, and state competitions, fostering a strong community spirit. The club also hosts various events and provides facilities for hall bookings, contributing to the vibrant local culture. In 2024, the club celebrated its 70th anniversary, marking seven decades of service and community engagement.
