Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge, located in Nitmiluk National Park, is a stunning 13-gorge system carved by the Katherine River through ancient sandstone. Visitors can explore the gorge by walking, canoeing, mountain biking, swimming, camping, boating, and fishing. The Nitmiluk Visitor Centre, situated at the entrance to the gorge, offers a café, souvenir shop, and cultural displays. Boat tours, helicopter flights, and canoe trips can be booked at the centre. The park requires visitors to have a parks pass.
