Newnes Campground (4WD Access Only)

Newnes Campground, nestled in Wollemi National Park, offers a secluded retreat accessible exclusively by a 10-kilometer walk from Glen Davis via the Pipeline Track. This remote campground features grassy, flat sites along the Wolgan River, surrounded by dramatic sandstone cliffs and eucalypt trees. Amenities include non-flush toilets and wood barbecues; visitors should bring their own firewood. Campers must be fully self-sufficient, carrying all supplies, including drinking water, and are required to pack out all rubbish. A $6 booking fee applies, though camping itself is free.
