Mount Trio features three distinct summits connected by a plateau, offering a 3.5 km return trail that begins and ends at a shaded picnic area. The hike includes a steep ascent to a saddle between the north and east peaks, followed by an easy stroll to the north peak, where hikers can enjoy panoramic views of Mount Toolbrunup and the surrounding mountains. The upper levels of the peaks are adorned with colorful wildflowers during spring and early summer. Visitors are advised to wear sturdy footwear, weatherproof clothing, and carry sufficient water. It's recommended to travel with a personal location beacon (PLB) and to stay on marked paths. Pets are not permitted in the park.
