Established in 1911 as a cinema, it was transformed into a live entertainment venue in 1986 when purchased by the Bundaberg City Council. The centre boasts a seating capacity of 797, featuring custom-designed Axminster carpet and professional theatrical seating supplied by Hadley Australia. Notably, the seats are identical to those found in prestigious venues such as the Perth Theatre Royal and the Disney Theatre in Orlando. The foyer has been remodeled over time, preserving a retro ambiance with a distinctive lighting feature affectionately known as 'the chandelier,' a remnant from the 1980s redevelopment.
