Mobilong Prison

Mobilong Prison, situated near Murray Bridge, South Australia, is an open campus-style facility accommodating male medium and low-security prisoners. Established in 1987, it offers a range of programs and services aimed at reducing re-offending, including case management, education, vocational training, and specialized programs such as the Making Changes Program, Alcohol and Other Drugs – Medium Intensity Program, and the Violence Prevention Program. The prison also provides employment and vocational training opportunities through its industries, which include electrical component assembly, building products, bakery and kitchen services, metal fabrication, and plastic component assembly. With a capacity of 472 prisoners, Mobilong Prison is committed to rehabilitation and reintegration, offering a supportive environment for inmates to develop skills and prepare for successful community re-entry.
