Milang Marine Search and Rescue Squadron

The Milang Marine Search and Rescue Squadron (MMSARS) is a dedicated volunteer organization committed to ensuring the safety of those navigating Lake Alexandrina and its surrounding waters. Operating 24/7, MMSARS responds promptly to marine emergencies, including search and rescue operations. In October 2020, they enhanced their operational efficiency by expanding their base with a new shed extension, providing secure storage for rescue equipment, a workshop area, and administrative office space. This strategic development enables volunteers to access and maintain gear swiftly, reinforcing their mission to safeguard the community on the water.
