Memory Cove Wilderness Protection Area

Memory Cove Wilderness Protection Area, situated 50 km from Port Lincoln, conserves the stunning scenery of Memory Cove and provides refuge for rare flora and fauna. Access is limited to 15 vehicles daily to preserve its wilderness qualities. The park's eucalypt and sheoak woodlands are home to diverse bird species, including the shy bush stone-curlew and the rare western whipbird. Coastal lookouts offer spectacular views of surrounding islands, and during winter months, visitors may spot passing whales or dolphins.
