Mangoola Coal, located in Wybong, New South Wales, is a 100% Glencore-owned open-cut coal mining operation. Situated 20 kilometers west of Muswellbrook and 10 kilometers north of Denman in the Hunter Valley, it produces thermal coal suitable for both export and domestic markets. In 2023, Mangoola Coal contributed $725 million to the economy, with 8,192,000 tonnes of saleable product and 420 employees and contractors. The operation is committed to environmental responsibility, implementing progressive rehabilitation practices and engaging with the local community through various initiatives.
