Litchfield National Park, covering approximately 1,500 km², is a must-see destination in the Top End. The park features stunning waterfalls, including Florence Falls and Wangi Falls, which cascade into crystal-clear pools. Visitors can enjoy swimming, picnicking, and walking trails amidst monsoon rainforest. The park is also home to iconic magnetic termite mounds and clusters of weathered sandstone pillars. Aboriginal people have lived throughout the area for thousands of years, and it holds cultural significance for the Koongurrukun, Mak Mak Marranunggu, Werat, and Warray Aboriginal people. A parks pass is required for entry.
