Kent Group National Park, Tasmania's northernmost, encompasses six granite islands in Bass Strait: Deal, Erith, Dover, North East Isle, South West Isle, and Judgement Rocks. Established in 2002, the park spans 2,374 hectares, including 29,000 hectares of marine reserve. The islands are rich in Aboriginal heritage, with human occupation dating back 8,000 to 13,000 years. Deal Island features a historic lighthouse, deactivated in 1992, and a museum. The park offers diverse wildlife, including Australian fur seals and various seabirds, and is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
