Horsham Showground, also known as Maydale Reserve, is a historic 19-hectare precinct in the heart of Horsham, Victoria, overlooking the Wimmera River. Managed by the Horsham Agricultural Society, it hosts a variety of events, including the annual Horsham Agricultural Show in September, the 150km Feast in February, SMOKE on the Water during the June long weekend, the Wimmera Merino Sheep Show in March, and the Horsham Horse Show in October. The venue features unique facilities such as The Cattle Shed, a function centre available for hire for weddings and special events, and the Maydale Pavilion, suitable for livestock and indoor sporting events. Camping facilities are available for event attendees and travelers, with amenities including mains power, drinking water, public toilets, and hot showers. The grounds also offer opportunities for short walks and fishing within walking distance. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Maydale Social Garden, and those traveling with horses can utilize the facilities for a $10 fee, which includes access to water and a straw pit for cleaning floats.
