
Gipsy Point Lodge and Cottages offers a tranquil retreat in East Gippsland, Victoria, nestled at the junction of the Genoa and Wallagaraugh Rivers. The lodge features well-appointed guest rooms with river and garden views, as well as self-contained cottages suitable for larger groups or extended stays. Guests can enjoy a spacious lounge with a fireplace, a dining area, and a sundeck overlooking the Genoa River, all set within three acres of gardens abundant with bird and wildlife. Private jetties provide direct access to the Mallacoota Inlet and local rivers, ideal for boating, fishing, or kayaking. The on-site licensed restaurant serves dinner from 6-8pm, Thursday to Saturday, and lunch from 12-2pm on Saturdays; bookings are essential. Surrounded by the UNESCO-listed Croajingolong National Park, the lodge offers opportunities for bird watching, bush walking, mountain biking, swimming, and beachcombing. Gipsy Point is a short drive from the beaches and coastal scenery of the Wilderness Coast, with Mallacoota just 20 km away and Eden, NSW, approximately 55 minutes by car. Please note, pets are not permitted, and EV charging facilities are unavailable due to power supply limitations.
