Visitors can explore rugged terrains through various hiking trails and 4WD tracks, leading to attractions like the ephemeral Lake Frome, a 100 km long salt lake integral to the Adnyamathanha's traditional hunting grounds. The park is home to numerous rare and endangered species, making it a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Camping is permitted with a permit from the ranger headquarters at Balcanoona.
