
The Freds Pass Rural Show, held annually in May at the Freds Pass Reserve, is a vibrant community event in the Litchfield Municipality. It showcases the agricultural, social, and cultural elements of the diverse rural community. The show features a variety of activities, including competitions in equestrian, cattle, goats, poultry, art, craft, photography, and horticulture. Visitors can enjoy the Paddock to Plate pavilion, woodchopping exhibitions, a classic car and bike show, talent quests, live stage events, an animal nursery, children's entertainment, and a market with food and commercial stalls. The event also includes a grand parade, fireworks spectacular, and live music on the Main Stage. The 2025 show was relocated to the western side of the Freds Pass Reserve, offering more space, shade, and a natural amphitheater for entertainment.
