Fitzgerald River National Park

Fitzgerald River National Park, spanning approximately 297,000 hectares in Western Australia, is renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, housing over 1,800 plant species, including 75 endemic to the region. The park's varied landscapes encompass rugged peaks, coastal headlands, and pristine beaches, offering numerous bushwalking trails suitable for all levels. Activities such as camping, canoeing, fishing, and whale-watching are popular, with Southern Right Whales frequently spotted along the coastline from July to October. Access is available via Hopetoun on Hamersley Drive, a sealed road leading directly into the park.
