It serves as the rehearsal and performance venue for the Maryborough Excelsior City Band, a group with a rich history dating back to the late 1880s. The hall hosts regular events, including live brass band performances in the adjacent Rotunda in Queens Park on the last Sunday morning of every month. Additionally, the band conducts weekly rehearsals every Wednesday night at 7:30 pm, welcoming new players to join their musical community.
