Evolution Mining's Cowal Gold Operations, located 350 km west of Sydney in New South Wales, is a world-class open-pit gold mine. Since its acquisition in 2015, it has achieved record annual gold production, producing 312,644 ounces in FY24 at an all-in sustaining cost of $1,338 per ounce. The underground mine reached commercial production in April 2024 and is set to ramp up to 2 million tonnes in FY25. In December 2024, the operation received NSW regulatory approval to extend open-pit mining by 10 years, ensuring operations continue until 2042.
