Perched halfway up Mount Kaputar, Doug Sky Lookout offers panoramic views of north-western New South Wales. From the subalpine surroundings, visitors can see Euglah Rock and the Nandewar Range. On clear days, the expansive Pilliga Scrub and the distant Warrumbungles are visible. The lookout, named after the man who oversaw the construction of the winding road up Mount Kaputar, is ideal for landscape photography and a refreshing stop during the drive up the mountain.
