Built in 1891, the Cuballing Tavern is a historic establishment that has undergone several transformations, including being known as the Cuballing Pool Hotel, Bullara Hotel, and the Cuballing Hotel. The original structure was a seven-room galvanized iron building with a brick kitchen and laundry. In 1905/06, it was replaced with a single-story brick building, incorporating the original kitchen and laundry, along with three cellars in the foundations. A second story was added in 1912, featuring eleven bedrooms and exterior walls made of local bricks, adorned with two elaborate pediments bearing the name and construction date. In 1989, new owners Fran Craig and Peter Patterson made extensive changes, including a delightful barbecue area and beer garden. The original brick kitchen and laundry are still in use, serving as a store room and cool room.
