Established in 1983, Clunes Field & Game has been a cornerstone of the local shooting community since 1985. The club boasts a substantial clubhouse and an extensive simulated clay target shooting range, renowned for its unique setting. Regular events attract shooters from across Victoria and interstate, promoting Clunes and its surrounding areas. Monthly simulated clay target shooting events are held on the second Sunday at 10:30 am, welcoming both experienced and new shooters. The club offers full canteen facilities during events and provides training for new and junior shooters. Conservation efforts include three significant wetlands on the grounds, serving as a natural wildlife tract and refuge for various birds and wildlife. Meetings are held at the clubhouse on Tuesday evenings before the second Sunday of each month at 7:30 pm, with new members warmly welcomed.
