Central Oval

Central Oval, located at 10 Augusta Terrace in Port Augusta, is a premier community sporting hub that seamlessly blends modern facilities with a rich history dating back to World War I. The complex features an AFL-standard football oval, three indoor multi-use courts, and outdoor netball courts, catering to a diverse range of sports enthusiasts. Additional amenities include meeting rooms, change rooms, and an upstairs viewing platform with function spaces. The precinct also encompasses Braddock Park and Hancock Stadium, offering ample parking and beautifully landscaped areas with native plants. Since its official opening in April 2015, Central Oval has become a central meeting place for both the Port Augusta community and visitors from the region, hosting various events and conferences.
